By 2021, we will...
Build further capacity within and across the growing number of science centers in the United States who provide professional development to K-12 STEM teachers in alignment with ASTC's strategic focus on supporting and connecting science centers to share knowledge, build skills, and collaborate.
Develop a Community of Practice to share teacher PD ideas and resources across the science center and museum field.
Continue to promote and strengthen collaboration across the formal and informal institutions that comprise STEM learning ecosystems through publications, workshops, the ASTC Annual Conference, and partner conferences.
Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?
Develop opportunities for our science-center members to increase their capacity to bring professional-development opportunities to teachers in their local communities, and to support the effectiveness of those programs.
