Revitalize and enhance the content knowledge and practices of more than 300 California STEM teachers through a program that provides STEM teachers with paid, eight-week summer fellowships in companies, universities, and research laboratories and creates ongoing engagement in classrooms by STEM professionals.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

Expanding our impact will require more teachers benefiting from the lessons learned during the summer fellowships. We will focus on helping our Ignited Fellows share key lessons with their peers and engaging STEM professionals year-round as part of an industry curriculum program.

Challenges this organization is addressing:

• the number of high-quality PD opportunities for STEM teachers
• PD opportunities on active STEM learning strategies
• school leader understanding of STEM teachers' PD needs
