Begin implementing STEMwork in rural school districts across North Carolina. STEMwork is the KFP's new blended professional development program, which builds local education-industry partnerships, PBL pedagogical knowledge, and is facilitated locally by trained Kenan Fellow alumni.

Have at least 500 Kenan Fellows (alumni) representing at least two-thirds of NC's 100 counties.

Leverage the capacity of the Kenan Fellows alumni network to identify and meet needs for high quality STEM professional development statewide.

Challenges this organization is addressing:

• the number of high-quality PD opportunities for STEM teachers
• opportunities for STEM teachers to collaborate with STEM experts
• opportunities for teachers in rural communities to access STEM instructional support
