By 2021, we will...

Refine and implement the StoryCircles model of professional development by engaging 16-20 novice and experienced teachers in working collectively to build lessons using cycles of scripting, storyboarding, and arguing about various alternatives.

Continue to support an interinstitutional network of improvement of the undergraduate geometry course taken by pre-service teachers.In that work, we will be surveying 50 - 100 recent teaching graduates and 20 - 50 teacher leaders in order to learn about the kinds of knowledge beginning teachers seem to be lacking as they enter the workforce.This data will be shared within that improvement network in order to help inform the instructors designing those undergraduate courses.
