By 2021, we will...

Have supported three schools of education preparing teachers to integrate computational thinking into their teaching practice, reaching 100 pre-service elementary educators.

Have supported six mastery-focused in-service computational thinking professional development models that are aligned to standards and advance student achievement codified, reaching 400 teachers.

Have supported 30 school demonstrations reflecting the diversity of NYC school contexts modeling integrated computational thinking, at least 25% of which are showing an increase in student achievement on state standardized tests as a result of the intervention.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

We intend to partner with other funders and organizations to share learnings and data on what is working and what is not; as well as to identify areas of collaboration to amplify each of our work. 

We intend to continue to nurture deep collaboration at the district, school and classroom levels to ensure the voices of those we are serving continue to guide our work. 

We intend to engage our portfolio of partners in regular collaborative learning to inform our work directly.
