Advocate for increased funding nationally and in states to support and spread quality OST STEM to increase the number of low-income youth, kids of color and girls who are interested and engaged in STEM learning both out of and in school, and increase the number of organizations and funders that include family engagement in their STEM strategies. We intend to partner with major national, state and local policy groups to create and promote an afterschool STEM policy agenda, coalesce our major initiatives, organizations, and networks to scale quality OST programming and connect youth who have been inspired to in-school support programs, and promote funder and field leader strategies to significantly increase family engagement in STEM.
