By 2021, we will...

Recruit, train, support, and retain 22 middle school math and science educators through an accelerated, hybrid graduate program and residency program. Completers will earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and a professional teaching license. They will be placed as a new teacher and will receive two years of support.

We will annually partner 25 practicing STEM/CTE teachers with regional STEM leaders in industry/academia for professional development.

Collaborate with regional teacher preparation programs to facilitate meaningful connections between local school districts; connect with regional teacher preparation programs and school districts to provide high-quality professional development opportunities to current and potential STEM mentor teachers; and continue to research high-quality professional development opportunities and best practices, and bring those opportunities to the region.
