By 2021, we will...

We will recruit, train, and support 300 excellent secondary STEM teachers, from freshman STEM majors to STEM degree holders, with a particular focus on placement of graduates and work with existing teachers in high-needs public schools.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

The Department of Science and Mathematics Education at the University of Texas at Dallas is keenly aware that both recruiting and preparing high quality STEM teachers and supporting the new and experienced teachers currently serving in public schools is critically important to ensuring that all students have the STEM education they need. We are committed to contining with our current efforts and to expanding them through deliberate intention to grow partnerships with stakeholders. As part of this commitment, we will leverage the power of the 100Kin10 network in our efforts to continue and strengthen the work we do.
