By 2021, we will...

Train/recruit 1,000 more educators through the Teaching Excellence Academy. Educators will receive STEM professional development in curriculum integration, project-based group learning, inquiry, digital fabrication, and maker education.

Increase our network of Pathway Providers to over 150 members strong. These members facilitate Pathway workshops with educators across the country.

We will increase awareness for the need of STEM teachers within our various professional networks such as STEM Ecosystems, Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and Maker Education Initiative.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

We intend to continue to partner with school districts to determine which STEM practices require focus in their situations and facilitate the corresponding professional learning. We also periodically connect with each school/district to ensure they are creating and meeting their goals.
