Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

As a national leader in STEM teacher education, we plan to share our work re-designing the USC STEM teacher curriculum and field work. It is critical that all beginning STEM teachers know their students, the communities they serve and how to implement authentic, relevant STEM curriculum. We intend to share our program structure and our students' successes teaching to shape teacher education locally, nationally and globally.

Challenges this organization is addressing:

• collaboration between local districts and teacher prep programs
• teachers' access to culturally-relevant instructional resources
• pre-service training for STEM teachers on culturally-relevant strategies
