Support 225 teachers with how to engage students in active STEM learning experiences and connect with industry professionals by creating community-based resources such as STEM Pro Live, Solve It, STEM Industry Pro Connect and the STEM Resource Center. To make our work more effective, we will work with teacher leaders and principals to embed opportunities for these professional learning and teacher collaboration supports within the school day.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

Engage additional and diverse stakeholders in feedback sessions and intentionally highlight bright spots and successful practices such as those in place on the campuses of current Exemplary Principal awardees.

Work with school and district leaders to remove barriers that are currently preventing teachers from participating in professional learning and collaboration opportunities during the school day. This could include scheduling common release time for teams, scheduling in-service hours, providing substitute support for teachers to enable release, etc.
