By 2021, we will...

Shepherd 300 additional teens through the YES program while introducing them to teaching STEM content and methods.

Engage 1000 educators in original, high quality professional development opportunities that lead to enhancement of their teaching practice and connection to resources.

Provide 2000 STEM teachers with opportunities to experience and practice active learning activities that they may employ in their field.

Is there anything else you intend to do to maximize your impact via the network?

Introduce a wider array of teens to the practice of teaching by bringing the YES program into select, local schools. Creating these 'satellite sites' will grow the YES program and allow more teens to become familiar with the practice of teaching.

Lead more teachers and educators through the SLSC Professional Development opportunities or lead teachers to other resources in order to improve their practice and the region's STEM education.

Continue our culture of experimentation and reflection as we search for the best practices in informal education and share with educators the programs and activities that make us fun, rigorous and unique.
