Teachers often lack sufficient resources to promote excellent STEM teaching in their classrooms, especially in engineering and technology. Districts can facilitate stronger STEM education by designating funds specifically for STEM instructional materials, growing the capacity of school leaders and teachers to identify and access high-quality STEM curriculum and curricular supports, and supporting teachers to access current STEM content through opportunities to collaborate or partner with STEM industry experts.
